I put new tech to work, at the desk and at home.

Sixteen-plus years building software for banks around the world. These days I bring AI into real engineering work: tools that agents can drive, assistants that read logs in plain language, and a way of building where people set the direction.

How I work

I put new tech to work the week it ships, and keep only what earns its place.

Much of what I build turns hours of waiting into seconds.

The small, sharp tools that quietly give a team its time back.

Agents do the heavy lifting. I write the design, the rules and the tests.

It's how I build most things now, from a driving simulator to a coding course.

Selected work

A few problems I've worked on. The systems stay private; the thinking doesn't.

From hours to seconds.

A trace tool engineers chose to use, now driven by AI agents too.

Bringing AI into how a team builds.

A working result, not a mandate.

Modernising long-lived platforms.

Moving mature software forward without breaking what works.

Building

A stick-shift simulator modelled on my own car. Physics core first; pedals and wheel next.

Learning

Writing my own agent framework from scratch, to really understand how agents work.

Exploring

Running bigger models locally on one GPU. Finding what fits in 24 GB, and what's actually useful.

Lab

Things I build because I want them to exist.

Featured

A stick-shift simulator that shows you why you stalled.

Illustrative. Real telemetry once the physics core lands.

Private chat

End-to-end encrypted chat, calls and screen sharing, browser to browser.

Local AI lab

What open models can really do on one desktop GPU.

Coding course

A game-based programming course with an AI tutor.

About

I'm a Senior Software Architect in Sydney. People bring me the problems everyone has agreed are impossible, and the ones that were needed yesterday. I like both.
